ZZZZZZZZ............

Dad is finally resting, huge collective sigh of relief!!! FYI Dad does not do well with Morphine. We found that with Lortab and Motrin he seems to feel better and more with it. Morphine makes him halucinate, and be agitated and confused! It has been pretty hard to see him in that state. He was grateful(annoyed as &%$@) to have his 3 favorite women there.......he has smiled, sworn (yes I know it is hard to believe),and held our hands acknowledging that we and other family members were there. We love you all, thank you for your love and support. Love LaRee, Angie and Deidra

I am glad to hear that he is finally able to get some rest. I can't believe that my cousin was swearing (HA HA). Hugs to all

My thoughts and prayers have been with you every hour since Martys ordeal started and have tuned into the blog since you posted it. I have felt his agony at each step of the way. There is nothing that makes a person feel more helpless than being dependent on others. Knowing Martys up to swearing and smiling reasures me he's on his way to recovery. The first few days always seem the worst. If we can be off any help please let us know.

Love to all

Today is Fast Sunday and you can be assured that Marty is at the top of the list of people we are fasting for today.
Is it possible to send a virtual hug to all of you - cuz here it is!!!!
Thank you for inviting us to this blog. I found myself going to the computer this morning and saying "I have to go see how Marty is doing."

Dear Baker Family--

I was thinking of how while we were neighbors, Marty would come and till my garden every spring and I would take him a lemon meruiange pie and a pepsi! What a privelidge it was for me to have such good neighbors for 6 years!!! Bennington people are the best! You are in my prayers and I am hopeing you are all hanging in there!

Love,
Leslie Gardner

We're so pleased that Marty is resting better, and we hope the recovery goes well from here. Everyone seemed interested in how he is doing at church today.

We will continue to look for updates on this site. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with all of you.
