Dad Is Doing Better

Everyone thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Dad has been up twice and is starting to come around. He is calm, still in pain, but I think that he is getting more used to the trech! Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He just smiled at me, which made me feel like he is starting to feel more alert and more like himself. Love to all, Deidra

Give him a hug from Polly June and tell him to "chill" so he can heal. I'm amazed that he has been out of bed twice. What a guy! Coming out of the anesthesia is a struggle so it is great that he's past that part. Hopefully he will have a better night tonight. I don't have to work Monday, so if you need me to come and relieve any of you, I will be happy to do that. Love you all. Polly June

Hello again. I am so happy that Marty received a beautiful and helpful blessing. I keep wondering if he has had one. I wrote quite an epistle last night, after the surgery was done, and then the computer ate it and we have been struggling to get back on line. Thanks Deidra for your computer. Just to distract you from all of the terror and stress I will add a note to say, we took Daddy on a boat ride today and it was gorgios. We continually talke about and were concerned for how things are going there, but it has helped to pass the time and wait and worry that we feel.I think we will be coming to see you tomorrow, Sunday, if nothing else to give you each a hug of love and support. Michelle says that all uncle Marty needs is a blessing and for Dad (Randy) to be with him, because HE knows how to calm him down! (Why she thinks that, I don't know, but she is sure Marty needs Randy!) I believe LaRee needs ME. Take care and know that we love you all. Love, Aunt SunDee

I am so sorry to hear about the struggles that Marty has gone through since last night. He is a fighter and if anyone can get through this he can. I am glad to hear he got a blessing and that it helped him relax. You are all in my prays daily. Hugs to Marty and LaRee.

Love, Barbara

Know that we are thinking of you all! And of course the prayers are numerous that include you! Take care and be strong! God won't bring you to it unless he will bring you through it! Melissa Bell

I just want to share a quote with you I found.
"Life is better with friend and families who care - always faithful; always there." I have felt the love and faith from everyone who writes on this blog, it is awesome. Know wonder Marty is doing much better.
