We just received our first call from Jennifer, the surgery nurse. She informed us that the surgery started at 7:46 am and that all is going well. Mom was also relieved to know that they will let us see Dad when he comes out of surgery even if it is into the no visiting hours that are posted. We are trying to stay distracted by visiting up a storm.

Thanks for the update, every chance I get a break at work I'm looking to see what's happening. Our thanks to the chaplin for letting you use their internet. I wish you were at the hospital that I work so that I could help take care of you. I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for you all and for the doctors that their hands will be guided.
